This book is an outgrowth of a project begun in l960. Early that year a magazine had been published, that was EDUCATIONAL and provided transvestites with some UNDERSTANDING, ACCEPTANCE and thus, PEACE OF MIND. Instead of the vicariusly written word, now here was a publication that let him understand himself on a more intellectual level. Thusly, the wives responded immensely with letters. These were from wives who had met and solved the problem within their marriages so their experiences could be passed on to those still contending with their husbands. And so, this book was formatted to give the couple a better foundation for developing an honest relationship that encompasses cross-dressing yet fairly includes the wives perspective on the subject. Highly recommended it has been on the BEST SELLER LIST for over 40 years!
