This darling little dress is almost a French Satin design, from Marie Antoinette Days. Notice the lovely lattice work on the bodice and skirt. Each line of satin lattice was hand stitched onto the satin skirt. Then 4 SATIN FLOWERS were stitched at each cross of ribbing! All hand stitched to balance! There is actually FOUR LAYERS on the skirt and THREE layers on the bodice. That does not include the volumes of nylon in the CRINOLINE ! Absolutely breath taking!
